![]() ![]() She also has a healthy libido, which she feels no shame about dealing with with whomever she finds attractive (and vice versa). She remembers everything, and because of this is extremely knowledgeable and capable. She has done this 99 times, and thus has been around for almost 2000 years. The heroine, Vivian, owns an area of land somewhere in Britain (probably Britain), including a village, rules over it intelligently, and every 19 years, has an epic battle with her nemesis and is reborn. In contrast to all those games, there is the Princess of Wingfield. ![]() It doesn’t make me give up on the game, but it can get pretty grating when it’s bad, and even when it’s not as obvious, it’s still annoying. Even in the games I mostly liked (like Jingi Naki Otome, about a heroine unwillingly becoming the head of a gangster family), have a lot of problematic stuff in them – the aforementioned insults, questionable consent, and just general dickishness. I don’t know about you guys, but I am so used to Japanese standards of gender roles and sexism by now that I don’t bat an eye when a male character insults the heroine, especially in adult games where often the insults are while they’re having sex – calling the heroine a whore, ignoring her requests to stop, just generally being a total asshole. I’ve played quite a few R18 otome games (yes, they’re still otome even if they have sex in them), and some I enjoyed quite a bit, so what makes this one so different? The characters. I adore this game, I want there to be a fandisk just so I can support it more. I was able to play Tsubasa no Oka no Hime (Princess of Wingfield) recently, and it is BY FAR the best R18 game I’ve ever played. If you aren’t interested in those games, don’t read this. There’s also some profanity in this review, so be warned if that bothers you.Īlright, now on to the fun part. Haruna’s life decisions are more risky, but it seems that Aya doesn’t mind this as much compared to Shinichirou’s treatment towards her.Was that upfront enough to warn people away? If not, let me make this clear – this is a review of an adult otome game, with graphic sex in it. Just like how Aya put it, Haruna’s opposites with Shinichirou. Is it because I am an university student myself? Guess that he’s going to be the reason why I’ll have preference towards the university student archetype. Haruna (because nobody called him by his first name, Makoto, anyway) is the guy whose route I read first. It wasn’t surprising for their marriage not to work. He may love Aya (the protagonist) and all, but he’s too stubborn to talk things out with her. Otherwise, I don’t have a reason to read all of the routes, because the fun of reading them comes from seeing Shinichirou’s attempts to be the “better” guy. I kind of have wished that the husband, Shinichirou, is a bit more likable though. What can I say? If there’s a title that explains what makes NTR attractive for me, this does the job. My opinion might change since I am not done in his route yet…Īfter this, I will read Yuzuki’s route and see if it’s different from his route that I’ve read earlier. Itsuki shares interesting stuff regarding Ayumi’s sister, though the events past the confession scene had a bad start (because he’s very self-conscious about the sharehouse rules). The next set of sharemates I picked includes Yuzuki and Itsuki. ![]() Then again, I don’t like 3P in general so I may not be in the position to talk about this. Haruto and Yuzuki’s 3P route started with love triangle comedy (and generally not giving a crap about the sharehouse’s rules), though the H scene in the end had a bad entrance. By that, I am saying that Yuzuki’s route is pretty good… He has a lot of infodumps about his occupation, so I was thinking that his individual route received significantly more effort compared to others. ![]() Yuzuki is hard to talk to in the beginning, but he’s very obvious once he warms up. It reminded me of all the “it’s not really love” drama that was in Ijiwaru my Master. It doesn’t help that Ayumi (the protagonist) has that know-it-all attitude just because she’s older. Haruto is a cute and all, but the drama in his individual route is awful. The first set of sharemates I picked includes Haruto and Yuzuki. I am yet to confirm whether or not the preceding events are the same, though. In addition, there’s no 4P routeĪpparently, certain guys have 2 individual endings, which depends on who the other sharemate is. You may select up to 3 sharemates, but there are only 2 valid combinations for that. ![]()
